Terms and Conditions- The cashback is valid for the bookings done from 10th October 2010 till 20th January 2011 ("offer period")
- The Cardholder needs to quote the deal code "ICICITRAVEL" at the time of booking to be eligible for the cashback.
- All Bookings should be ex-India only.
- The Cardholder will be required to make payment as per the price quoted by MakeMyTrip on www.makemytrip.com (MakeMyTrip website) or at telebooking centre, without considering the cashback benefit.
- 10% cashback on International Flight bookings is to the maximum of:
o US: Rs.2500 per card for the offer period
o All other sector (except SAARC countries): Rs.1000 per card for the offer period
o SAARC countries: Rs.500 per card for the offer period - 30% cashback on Online Hotel bookings is applicable only if the booking amount is more than Rs.5000. Maximum Rs.1500 cashback per card for the offer period.
- For Online Hotel bookings where the booking amount is less than or equal to Rs.5000, 10% cashback to the maximum of Rs.500 per card for the offer period.
- The 7% cashback on Domestic Holiday bookings is subject to maximum cashback of Rs.2000 per card for the offer period.
- The 7% cashback on International Holiday bookings is subject to maximum cashback of Rs.3500 per card for the offer period.
- The holiday offers (Domestic and International) are not valid on Flight + Hotel online bookings.
- All the offers are valid on base fare only.
- The cashback would be calculated on the non-air component of the holiday package and will not be applicable on the air fares and the taxes. All taxes including but not limited to Airport taxes, Visa charges, high season surcharge are payable by the Cardholder and are not part of the cashback offer.
- The cashback will be calculated on each booking ID and not on number of transactions. So if a Cardholder pays in 2 installments/transactions for 1 booking ID, the cashback will be calculated on basis of the base amount or card charged amount (whichever is lower) of the booking ID.
- If the Cardholder doesn't receive cashback amount, he/she can claim for the same within 3 months from the booking date. In the event the Cardholder fails to do so, he/she will not be eligible for the cashback amount.
- Within 7 working days following the date of such booking, MakeMyTrip will process a credit transaction for the cashback amount on to the Cardholder's card account.
o For credit card bookings, cashback shall be credited to the same credit card as was used for the purpose of making the booking, and will reflect in the monthly card statement/s.
o Debit card customers need to provide account information while booking, so that cashback can be credited: IFSC code (Indian Financial System Code), Account Number, Account Type (Saving/Current), Account holder’s name, Bank Name, Branch Name and Bank City. - The Cardholder cannot club two offers during the same transaction. The cashback benefit cannot be combined with any other promotional benefit offered for bookings on MakeMyTrip, except in scenarios where the other benefit is not extended/funded by MakeMyTrip.
- If the Cardholder cancels the travel service purchase after the cashback amount is credited, MakeMyTrip will refund the purchase price after deducting the cashback amount and any other applicable cancellation charges / penalty. E.g. If a Cardholder has paid Rs.10,000 (price quoted by MakeMyTrip) for a travel service and a cashback of Rs.1,000 has been credited to the Cardholders account, the net amount paid by the cardholder is Rs.9,000. Thus, if the Cardholder cancels the booking, MakeMyTrip will deduct the cancellation charge/penalty from Rs.9,000 and the balance amount will be credited to the Cardholder's account.
- Date change is allowed, however the Cardholder has to bear the additional charges as required.
- Service charges as applicable shall be payable by the Cardholder.
- Prior to using the MakeMyTrip website, the Cardholder should read and understand the User Agreement of the said website and proceed to make purchases only if the Cardholder agrees to abide by the same. The Cardholder shall be required to give personal information and credit card details online for the air tickets purchased on www.makemytrip.com. The Cardholder should read and understand the Privacy policy for the MakeMyTrip website, prior to providing such information.
- Cardholders, who are Travel Agents by occupation, are barred from making bookings for their customers using their own Kotak Mahindra Bank credit cards. MakeMyTrip reserves the right to cancel such bookings if such a case comes to the notice of MakeMyTrip. For such cases, MakeMyTrip will not refund the booking amount.
- Any person availing of this offer shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
- The Bank and MakeMyTrip reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, to add/alter/modify/change or vary all of these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or in part, this offer by another offer, whether similar to this offer or not, or to extend or withdraw it altogether.
- Disputes, if any, arising out of or in connection with or as a result of above offers or otherwise relating hereto shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts / tribunals in Mumbai only, irrespective of whether courts / tribunals in other areas have concurrent or similar jurisdiction.
